About DARG STUDIOS

DARG STUDIOS is a film production studio, based out of Calgary, Alberta. Founded in 2015. Originally started as just a group name for a short film: The Pencil (2015). Later growing to be a YouTube channel that lasted from 2018- 2019, producing various student films. DARG STUDIOS was originally just a one-man studio founded by Diego Rodriguez Garcia. DARG STUDIOS has grown to include others in the behind-the-scene process.

DARG STUDIOS is growing to be a film studio created to help filmmakers bring their visions to life. At DARG STUDIOS we welcome filmmakers from all walks of life. Like other film studios, we focus on making a fun, open and inclusive welcoming environment everyone can enjoy. We try to offer filmmakers a chance to make their films in a safe, fun and laid-back environment. 

Since the relaunch of DARG STUDIOS in 2022. DARG STUDIOS has produced 5 films: Scratching (2022), Ruby (Coming Soon), One Way Trip (2023), The Start of Something (Coming Soon) & Good Soup (Coming Soon). The goal is to help produce more films from independent directors and filmmakers.
